Yesterday, a free eye check-up and cataract surgery camp was successfully organized by the Paschim Medinipur AB Human Care Society, in collaboration with Drishti Dan Optical Store. The camp was held at Dr. Sekh Komoruddin’s chamber, where renowned eye specialist Dr. Arnab Ghosh (MBBS, DO, Eye Surgeon) was present to conduct the examinations.
Event Highlights:
👁️ Free Eye Check-up:
A total of 98 individuals underwent eye check-ups, where their vision, retina condition, and other eye-related issues were thoroughly examined.
🩺 Cataract Surgery Arrangements:
During the examination, 11 patients were diagnosed with cataracts, and arrangements were made for completely free cataract surgery. The patients were given necessary instructions and post-operative care guidelines.
🎯 Commitment to Social Service:
At the end of the camp, Dr. Sekh Komoruddin, Secretary of the Paschim Medinipur AB Human Care Society, announced that such free eye check-up and surgery camps will be held once every month, ensuring that more people can benefit from free eye care services.
